Hello,
I am Trang, a current student studying Bachelor of Communication and Media – Bachelor of International Studies at University of Wollongong and the owner of this website.
This website is created to demonstrate my Digital Artefact, which is a constituent of the Digital Asia (BCM320) subject. In this autoethnographic project, I examine the the role of translated Chinese netizens’ top comments in the augmenting Vietnamese youth’s knowledge of the Sinophone world as well as the Chinese culture. Drawing on a wide range of popular and academic publications, as well as a short interactive interview, I have gained insights into the production and consumption of translated comments, transnational cultural fandom, paratext and the autoethnographic process.
